My work uses photography as its primary source. Most of the photos I have taken myself while others are from an ongoing collection ranging from magazine and newspaper clippings to E-bay auction items. The photograph is at times enough to express a particular idea at other times paintings, a media piece or a scuptural form is necessary. I use everyday imagery to create an openness in the work, a place in which people can see themselves for a moment - a place to contemplate, a place to reflect, a place to reside.

My current body of work explores the objects and artifacts of American culture. We live in a complex society within a more complex world and I believe art should in some way reflect that complexity.
